Matt Graham

Growing up in a musical family with Fijian roots, I guess it's not entirely surprising how my journey with music started.

 

About as early as age 5, I was in Dad's studio tracking vocals for 90's commercials, before gravitating to guitar & songwriting as I got older.

​

While graduating a Music Bachelor from QUT Music School, I completed my first tour of QLD, NT, SA, VIC & NSW in AUS (2013), then venturing further with music into the UAE, Asia & Europe.

​

I have since been a full-time performing artist with a career now spanning over 10 years.

​

Corporate Events, Sports Events, Weddings, Pubs, Country Bars, Roadhouses, Prisons, Nightclubs, Cruise Ships, Jazz Bars, Dive Bars & Festivals; If you can name the arena I'll have a story for you.

A Few highlights in my performance career have been:

​

• Performing solo overlooking the Burj Khalifa for Dubai's NYE (2017/18)

• Showcasing my music at Woodford Folk Festival (2019/2020),

• Representing Sheppard Band as a session guitarist (2021) 

• completing over 1000 recorded live performances as an independent artist.

Throughout all of this I was mentored by greats who took the patience to guide me toward working creatively & collaboratively - whether it be with musicians, a song someone else has written, or a song I've written or co-wrote.
